2020欧洲杯时间Have you created a new vocabulary list (or edited an old one) in the past few days? If you have, you might have noticed some new list-making tools we just rolled out on Monday. These tools give you more control over the meanings you learn (or assign) when creating (or editing) vocabulary lists. Let’s take a look and see what’s new!
2020欧洲杯时间First, when you create a new list, you’ll notice a column of small edit buttons appears for each word you select. Click the edit button, and a new detail panel will slide in for that word. Here you can select (or deselect) the individual meanings you would like us to prioritize when you (or your students) practice this list. Now, when you practice a list, we’ll start by testing just the individual meanings you have selected. However, keep in mind you’ll still need to learn all the meanings of a word in order to master it.
2020欧洲杯时间Second, you can click over to the “Examples” tab if you’d like to be able to see the full example sentence when picking an example to include.
2020欧洲杯时间Finally, you can select the “Notes” tab to enter any notes you’d like to appear on your list.
We’ve made similar changes over on the list editing page. Now you’ll see a small edit button underneath each entry. Click the button to reveal the meanings panel for each word.
2020欧洲杯时间Here, you’ll notice we give you a few more options. In the first column you can select which meaning you want to display as the primary meaning in the list. In the second column you can select which meanings you’d like us to focus on when practicing the list. Note that you may not be able to select all meanings, since we may not have questions (yet) on every meaning.
We hope you find these changes useful and that they help to make your learning on sheffieldwind.com even more efficient!
